We all adore and want long healthy shiny hairs. Healthy hairs can add to the beauty and personality of any man or woman. Hairs are probably the first thing you notice in anyone, especially women. Beautiful shiny hairs always leave an impression. We can easily achieve good looking hairs by using few tools, products or treatments but it will damage and can ruin our hairs. Additionally, not everyone can afford those expensive hair treatments. Hence hair care is of the absolute importance in ways that you might not comprehend. Even if you’re not one to style your hair on a daily basis, having a full head of hair is still desirable to losing your hair at an early age. The aspect of your hair is a strong impression of your overall health. Your hair is a great gauge of whether or not your body is receiving and processing a sufficient quantity of vitamins and nutrients to keep you in good health. Always pay attention to what your hair is telling you!

Reasons For Hairfall

Rising pollution, toxic air in the environment and stressed lifestyle make our hairs more prone to hair fall. Over styling or constantly touching the hair is also one of the reasons for hair fall. Styling products such as straighteners, dryers, curling iron and hairspray damage hairs and make them more frizzy and brittle. Even the hormonal imbalance, unbalanced diet, sleepless nights are the factors that contribute a negative impact on the durability of hair. Usage of too much harsh chemical-based products is responsible for hair loss and thinning of hairs

Tips To Have Healthy Hairs

Hot Oil Massage

It may sound old-fashioned too so many modern lifestyle people but oil is basically hair food. The first benefit of natural oils is that they are least processed with several vitamins and micronutrients. It revitalizes the hair tissues, fights hair fall and balances the frizz. It increases the flow of the blood to the hair follicles, enhances the strength of the roots of your hair and conditions your scalp.

Avoid Styling Tool

Try to avoid heat tools as much as possible. Usage of styling tools will make your hairs worse. Let your hairs dry naturally. Make sure to apply a heat protection product before using heat. Remember that every time you use heat, some damage is done to your hair.

Correct Shampoos

So many shampoos in the market make different kinds of promises like straight hairs, frizz-free, hair control, moisturize your scalp, pollution control or shiny hairs. But shampoos with so many chemicals in it may give you instant results and make your hairs soft and shiny but for the long run, this may cause a lot more damage than you can imagine. So, choose a shampoo which has fewer chemicals in it. Try herbal shampoo and keep the usage to a minimum.


Well in my opinion conditioners are a BIG NO-NO. They contain a lot of harmful chemicals in concentrated forms. Hence if you really want to use a conditioner please look once at the ingredients used in it and choose the one with the least harmful chemicals or a herbal one. Or you can use natural products as conditioners like Mehndi and Eggs. Limit the use of conditioner to once in a week.

Balanced diet

A healthy diet is very important for healthy hairs. You can have dry, frizzy, smooth or silky hair - all these are signs of your inside health. Your hairs are made up of a protein called keratin and they need to be constantly nourished from inside with vitamins and minerals to make them strong and long. You have to include protein, Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Iron, Omega-3 fatty acids in your diet for healthy hairs. Try to include superfoods in your diet. There are so many fruits, vegetables and pulses with can provide you with all the essentials vitamins and minerals.

Be happy

Reduce stress as it is one of the main reasons for hair fall. Meditate, do yoga or exercise, give time to yourself. Because ultimately, it's your mental and physical health that is important. Create your own morning regime and follow it. Sleep on time and always complete your 8-hour sleep.

Use a wide-tooth comb

Everyone says this "don't brush your hair while it's wet" but very few follow this. While shampooing also you should gently massage it on your scalp. This will improve blood circulation. Don't rub the towel also. Let it air dry. If your hairs get tangled if you don't brush then use a wide-tooth comb. The best comb for your hair is a wooden comb.

My Hair Hacks

Well, healthy hairs are very essential to me. Hairfall, thinning of hair has been my primary concern. Hair treatment being an obvious choice but the anticipation of eminent chemicals frightens me a lot. So, I have constantly relied on natural remedies to embellish the strength and health of my hairs. So many people ask me though if have styled my or coloured them. Well, let me answer all of your questions.

This curly hair that you see in almost every picture is the natural texture of my hairs. I have some few simple hair hacks that I do.

I always do oil massage a night before I wash my hair. But I feel that you should choose your oil according to the region you are born and brought up in. If you are in north region mustard oil and in south region coconut oil. You can choose oil depending on the need also.

While applying shampoo I first dilute it in a bowl by adding water and foam it. This reduces the direct effect of chemicals on my head and reduces the effect of harsh chemicals.

For conditioning my hairs I apply a hair pack of mehndi every 15 days. I don't use any other conditioner.

I let my hairs dry naturally. Having a balanced diet along with 8-hour sleep helps a lot.
