Are you feeling completely stuck at home some nights after you've finished work?? Even weekends don't feel the same way as they used to. You just feel stuck in a realm where there is no escape except to follow the basic routine every day. On one hand, having extra time on hand motivates you to do productive stuff like workout, catch up with a hobby, creative cooking, reading or just endlessly scrolling down the social media. There are days when you just don't want to do anything but the days feel so cloned, that you end up doing everything. I mean why not when you have nothing to do?
If I speak for myself, I find it difficult to have a balance between doing everything and doing nothing. I am a person who goes out, likes to have fine candlelight dinners, play games, try out new spaces, organise date nights, go for shoots, or simply just sit in the park the whole day. This made me realise how much I took those things for granted. All the small things which made me feel so great.
Without those opportunities, it's easy to feel hollow and so after seeing a few other people being dressed up and calling shots at home itself. I thought even I could go a step ahead. I decided to get dressed every day. I usually take the evening in my hands. I put on a dress like I am heading out, do a bit of makeup and just feel good. Mostly I make Tiktoks, dinner and spend some quality time with Ashish. Don't be afraid and don't judge yourself for dressing up at home. It's the least you can do to get out of those pyjamas and feel fresh.

How To Make Most Of Your Evenings
Planning goes a long way. No matter if it's your grocery shopping, going for a walk, date night, trying out some cuisine. Now with limited resources at your hand, you need to be creative with what you use and make out of it. Earlier, we had endless supplies and we wasted most of it then. Now it's taste your own medicine time. Luxuries that we invented to get everything in hand by just one click is far gone. Understand the true means of the resources that you are getting. So plan every everything according to what you need for a daily basis to the special occasions you want to organise. I am waiting for the sun to hit so that I can have my barbeque day in my balcony.

It's ironic to see that a virus is making you realise and giving you time to do what you have always wanted to do. I see people dancing, baking, enjoying the nature, walking on the grass, exercising, cooking, reading, painting and whatnot. It's such an eye candy. Even I have started exercising regularly. Take Some 'Me' and 'Us' Time
Spend some quality time with your loved ones. I think we have all forgotten to spend some quality time. So get up get dressed, put on some makeup, perfume and get ready. You have no idea how motivated and great you will feel afterwards. Take a long bath, pamper your skin and body, pamper yourself. Don't take this time for granted. This is once in a lifetime opportunity given to you. I say moving forward, never take anything for granted. Be thankful for everything that you have.
I hope this gives you a little inspiration to spend some quality time together with the one you might be accidentally taking for granted right now, in the midst of everything. Put your phone away, grab your favourite bottle of wine and dance the night away in the kitchen together
